Stayed in one the rooms, very clean, breakfast healthy and fresh. Just had a Double smash cheeseburger and I honestly think it’s one of the best pub burgers I’ve ever ever had…. Tasty, sweet element, brioche bun, crispy edges on the burger reallly really nice!!!!!
Have stayed here & rooms are lovely, food great & staff are really great. My sisters & I visit our sis every couple of weeks in a nursing home which is always very sad & sometimes stressful so we always need a drink before we head home (4 hr journey!) Staff are so friendly & fun, we have been sitting in garden whilst weather been good. One negative tho & that was the DJ that arrived around 5 & blasted out rock music which was not really sociable genre & also way too loud!!
What a lovely place to stay! We decided to treat ourselves to a night by the sea. Check in was great, we were greeted by the manager and were able to check in straight away at 3pm. We dropped our bags and headed back down to the pub for a roast which was incredible! The rooms are lovely, very comfortable, tastefully decorated, clean and a great selection of apps on the TV so we could wind down with a cup of tea and watch a bit of Netflix before bed. Something a lot of other hotels don’t have. We were up nice and early and had a gorgeous breakfast, our server was Aro who was very attentive and his service was outstanding, before heading out for a walk. The generous check out time of 11 was perfect as we could leave our bags and grab them just before the train home. Will definitely be back! Thanks Railway!
We had a great stay here for the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The hotel is very charming and the pub is great as well. The breakfast was a perfect start in our day.
